The Academy gives its students the ability to dynamically enter the market as Developers.
The main purpose of Developers Academy is to bring as many people to the constantly progressing world of developing, and at the same time closer to finding a job. During the upcoming years developers are expected to have guaranteed jobs, based on the high demand both in Greece and worldwide.
The Academy Programs require minimum experience in programming and basic computer knowledge.
Developers Academy Program
200 hour academic program, which combines theory and extended practical sessions of students, using numerous software tools.
The aim of this 70 hour seminar, is to learn Android application development using Java and Android Studio.
Developers Academy Faculty
Dr. George Bravos received the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science diploma of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) at 2002 and the PhD of University of Piraeus at 2008. From 2002 to 2008 he worked as a research engineer in University of Piraeus in several international research projects. From October 2009 to 2013 he worked as a scientific assistant – adjunct professor at the Technical Educational Institution of Chalkida, Greece. From October 2013 he works as a post – doc researcher in Harokopion University of Athens (HUA). From October 2014 he also works as an assistant Professor and Director of IT programs in Hellenic – American University.
Dr. Dimitrios Alexopoulos received his PhD (2009) and B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (2002) from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Since 2002, he has been engaged in the design and development of B2B and B2C applications and services, and cooperates closely with companies like Intracom, Intrasoft, OTENET, OTE and COSMOTE. Since 2003, he teaches computer science related courses to students of all levels, including but not limited to Java, SQL, databases and overall development of web sites and business applications. From 2010 to 2014 he worked as an adjunct lecturer at the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education (Α.Σ.ΠΑΙ.Τ.Ε.), teaching Control Systems. He has participated in several seminars and development workshops such as Liferay Developer & Administrator, Oracle ATG Developer and Administrator, and Social Analytic to name a few. Since 2010 he has been working for COSMOTE as Enterprise Architect, in addition to designing and developing corporate applications for ΟΤΕ.
Dimitrios Ntontos is a graduate of the Military School of Programmers and holds a Master of Science in “New Technologies of Information and Communication” from the University of Athens. He has participated in a number of seminars, including Oracle – DBA and Oracle – Developer seminars of National Center of Public Administration and Local Government. Since 2000 he has been teaching programming focusing on C/C++, Java, SQL, php, data bases and web development. Since 2002, he has also been working as free-lancer application developer, data bases manager and web developer, as well as Database Administrator & Network Administrator for the Military.
Potential Tuition Fees Financing
All of our courses meet the requirements set by the Office for Labor Force Development ΟΑΕΔ ΛΑΕΚ 0,24% for companies to receive reimbursement for part of the tuition they may pay for their employees.
