Talk by Dr. Dimitris Bourantas on success and the fundamental types of intelligenceHave you ever thought about what principles and methods are most useful and effective for personal and professional success? How do meaning and life goals relate to the creative decision-making process, critical choices and social relationships?

Dr. Bourantas, writer and professor of HR and Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business, will try to answer these and other questions as he explores the four fundamental types of intelligence: existential, rational, practical and social.

As Dr. Bourantas says “Being effective is key to a successful personal and professional life, since in essence this means achieving our goals and getting the best possible outcome in the best possible way with the minimum of sacrifice”.

Introductory remarks will be delivered by Dr. Sophia Protopapa, Director of the Hellenic American College Career Development Office.

Speaker’s short bio

Dimitris Bourantas is Professor of Management, Academic Director of the Executive MBA program and MSc in HR program at the Athens University of Economics and Business. He has published an extensive number of articles in established academic journals and has written 10 books, 3 of which became best-sellers: Management, HR Management, and Leadership: A Route to Sustainable Success.
